Aramaic, or Greek, or Latin, or 2 or more of the above for in depth #textual #scripture studies? That's up to the individual(s). For us in the WW (Western World), which is larger, and Westerners wherever else they are, Greek based translations are the predominant used translations, TR Greek, MT Greek, and CT Greek, and as of 2019 there are an estimate of 2.4 Billion people using Greek Based Bibles.
On the Greek side, I prefer MT Greek based translations, but here in the U.S.A. (at least), they are rare and only a few, and only about 7 or so English Translations available in the U.S.A., so I'm in the tiny path, and the case is the same for the Aramaic based Translations which are very few in the WW, but elsewhere in the World, MT Greek Textform and Aramaic are the primaries, in separate regions. I'm fine with this. 👍🏼
Aramaic is a Primary for me over MT Greek Textform based Bibles, but the two are closely related.
As for Latin Based English Translations, I rarely see texts from those. It's important to note, that where the integral contextual whole of the different translations with differing readings are concerned, the Almighty has made main messages for available for many citizens of the World.
LEGEND:
TR = Textus Receptus
MT = Byzantine / Majority Texts
CT = Westcott / Critical Texts
HERE ARE MANY VARIANTS WHERE THE 3 PRIMARY GREEK TEXT FORMS ARE CONCERN. MANY IN THE BOOK OF REVELATION:
Greek Copies were "additionally" made from the Semitic Language(s), which were needed for the Western World.
